Life transitions are not easy. We human beings have so much pressure and responsibility on our shoulders as we grow - it can feel like it's impossible to hold it all.

It's hard not to get down on ourselves as we see others doing life "flawlessly" while we struggle to simply get out of bed, answer text messages, make it to school or work, or get things done around the house.

Sometimes it seems like all we can do is escape, push others away, or please people because it's easier or feels safer that way. But we also want to feel less anxious, depressed, disconnected, and more confident in ourselves, happier in our relationships... And the way we are going about things just isn't working anymore.

First of all, it's not about what's wrong with you, it's about what happened to you. Anyone who taught you that you need to be fixed was mistaken. They provided you an inaccurate and unhelpful lesson.

Therapy is about achieving improvements you want in your life.

Although many of your therapy goals might change over time, many clients seek me out to feel like they matter, be more in control of their lives, heal trauma, and feel like themselves again.

My mission is to help young men and women overcome their fears, shame, and personal barriers so they can uncover the 2.0 version of themselves to live congruently and authentically.
